Introducing Big Lad! This captivating donkey was liberated from an equine market at the age of 9, where he faced the unfortunate fate of being sold for breeding as an intact jack donkey. However, through the collective efforts of caring individuals like yourself, we were able to rescue him and welcome him into the loving embrace of Fields of Freedom Animal Sanctuary. Today, Big Lad thrives in an environment that fosters his happiness and well-being.
Just imagine the alternate reality that Big Lad would have endured if we hadn’t intervened to save him. He would have suffered through countless forced breedings, with no consideration for his health or happiness. Thankfully, that is not his reality. Instead, he now revels in the freedom to roam and experiences the purest joys that life has to offer.
